Jesus was a great storyteller. In these devotionals we are going to consider one of the most popular or well-known stories of Jesus and look at not only what the story is, but why he told it.
If you could pick only one chapter to describe who God is or Jesus’ mission in the world, I think that Luke 15 would be pretty spot on. In this chapter we see the story of the lost sheep, lost coin, and the lost (prodigal) son. These are stories about how precious things return ‘home’.
